BEER & BITES
Event Branding & Production
Prior to founding Tairis, Deanna Dargan directed the marketing for a local developer and brought to life his vision for a signature philanthropic event. In the two years Deanna managed it, Beer & Bites hosted 800 guests and brought in over $700,000 for South Sound CARE Foundation to continue their fight against cancer in Puget Sound.
An event of this magnitude deserved it's own presence, so Deanna worked with graphic designer Holly Knoll to create a brand, including logo, fonts, collateral and signage. With evergreen content and graphics, the internal team executed the tactical marketing plan.
Transforming a 100-year-old timber mill into an event space is not easy task, but with a strongly recruited volunteer team and precise execution, the event was always a huge hit. Unique interactive touches, such as a raw oyster bar and wine toss, really separated Beer & Bites from the slew of local gala options for Tacoma's elite to attend.
